Alexandria Coe is a British-born artist whose practice explores the human form through drawing, painting and site-specific work. With an economy of line, her figures move between vulnerability, stillness and physical presence.
Her work considers the body as a space for freedom rather than restriction, with a particular interest in the female form and how it can be represented beyond familiar social expectations.
Working across paper, canvas, silk, clay and architectural surfaces, Coe’s studio practice extends into large-scale commissions for private, hospitality and cultural spaces. Her figurative language moves fluidly between works of quiet immediacy and architectural interventions.
