The expression of space, pattern and stylisation, occurs through embodied social understanding. There are the moments of expression. Then there are the moments of caution, resistance and docility. The space in which one performs is ever present. The audience, the performer and the performance are submerged into learnt gesture.

within resistance; becomes the pattern. The desire to find conformity, becomes about a desire to understand.

heels on paper, dragged without pre notion of result. the practice becomes performative due to the added spectatorship of the camera. the uniformity of patter can be understood as a cognition beyond control.
